Trad on the Tyne, the Haddington festival  run by Haddington Pipe Band, has finalized its programme for this year

31  August – 2 September

and we've got Gary West playing a central role -  perfoming on the Friday evening with Wendy Stewart, running a smallpipes workshop on the Saturday, and then playing again on the Saturday evening in the headline show.

The National Celtic Festival is held across the long-weekend, June 10-13, 2011, on the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria, Australia.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to report that, after a brief illness, the Society’s chairman Martin Lowe died at his home in Gullane on October 9th. He had played a vital role in the Society’s activities for many years and will be deeply missed.
