thanks for pointing to this; I have to say, however, that I disagree with Barnaby about the first arrival of the bag for pipes in Britain; the word 'bagpipe' is used in the late 13th century in English court record [cant recall the actual source but it occurs within a Latin text of payment made] a century or so before Chaucer's miller ...
