This is my kind of music and one of the best books I have bought for a while. The tunes include some on Allan's CDs, eg. Colla mo run, etc.. Allan plays 58 of the 100 tunes on Deger pipes. This is helpful in showing the expression he brings to them. However,there is no index to his playing which is a minor oversight. The music is beautifully set in landscape format. My copy was not totally perfect in that the stapling could have been done better. It is a large book to be stapled and it will not be long before the cover falls off my copy - partly through frequent use - a minor issue since it would be a poor piper who was more concerned about the staples than the wonderful tunes in this book. I can't recommend this book too highly. George.
