TOPIC: Ashokan Farewell for SSPs

Ashokan Farewell for SSPs 1 month 2 weeks ago #627

I have worked out a version that would be ok to play along with an other instrument .
Its not ideal but will work fine if you let some one else carry the main melody .You would need to use a D chanter to get it into the most common key this tune is played in .I have transposed it to A for the highland pipers to read .Copy and paste to an ABC reader .

Ross, thanks very much indeed - that's very kind if you. It will allow me to play with a friend here who has invited me to jam with him at a Bluegrass session. He plays banjo - should sound interesting!
