Yesterday I spent the afternoon [some of it] getting to grips with 'Weel Bobit Blanche of Middlebie'
The tune comes from Robert Riddell's 1794 Collection [

The challenge here is chiefly tempo; there are also some unusual passage, which come as a surprise; bar 6 of strain 2, for instance takes a while to accommodate, and the semi-quaver passages in the final strain I have not come across in any other piece; more work in progress - a recording in the next few days hopefully ...
