The Lowland and Border Pipers' Society

We are pleased to announce details of the 2026 Collogue, which will take place in Birnam and Dunkeld on the 20th, 21st and 22nd November. This year the focus will be on playing and participation. The eclectic nature of the programme reflects the many paths taken by musicians who began playing bellows pipes during the first years of the Society’s existence, as well as those who have taken them up more recently. Their work has led towards contrasting repertoires, styles and new instruments. The weekend should offer both comfort and challenge and give us the chance to share our enthusiasm for learning, playing and listening to great tunes.

This year’s tutors and presenters include Callum Armstrong, Professor Hugh Cheape, Vicki Swan, Julian Goodacre, Jeremy Kingsbury, Donald Lindsay, Fionnlagh Mac A’Phiocair and Fin Moore.

The weekend will also include an 'open-floor' event, a showcase concert on the Saturday evening, informal sessions and the Society's AGM.
