Awarded first prize in this year’s New Composition Class was Callum Armstrong’s ‘Angie’s Jig’. Callum played this tune on his Scottish smallpipe double chanter. It could well be adapted as a duet. Second prize went to Pete Stewart’s ‘Yooky Taes’ and third prize went to George Greig’s ‘Lynne and Steve’s Big Day’
