Tutors Ian Kinnear and Neil Clark will offer a choice of workshops.

Friday evening - Arrive for a St Andrew’s night supper and introduction to Hospitalfield, followed by a playing session.

Saturday - Workshop 1, lunch, workshop 2, evening meal, talk by Ian on ‘The Davidson Pipes’ - an early set of bellows blown smallpipes, followed by a playing session.

Sunday - Workshop 3, lunch, followed by an informal concert in the Mortuary Chapel (a wee version of Rosslyn) - prepare your party piece!

Some music manuscripts are kept in the Hospitalfield Library which can be made available, by arrangement.

Bring a partner to enjoy the log fires and ambience. They might like to:

  • Visit the Abbey, or the collection of Pictish Stones at St Vigeans.
  • Pop down to Dundee to visit the new V and A museum
  • Take a walk along the sea front and cliffs.
